# Link Event Color to Event Identifier

## Identifier Color Use `(discrete dynamic strings)`

* Notice
 * You must check the box to use these. If you don't, colors will come from either the default event color or the event color list.
 * You must enter each event type. This can be dynamic but means you'll probably want these planned out ahead of time.
 * When using these, even if the event doesn't have an Identifier, it still gets a color. pay attention to the last property.

![You can have up to 6 event identifier/color combinations PLUS 1 default color for all other events. ](/files/-Mdbdgx0que8WvXyOC12)

* You will want to first check the box, then add your event type to each Event Type input field, and lastly assign your desired color for that event type.
