# Install the Element

1. Install the plugin
2. Setup your database
3. Place the element on a screen.
4. Ensure you have filled out the[ required fields](/fullcalendar-plugin-suite/elements/calendar/input-fields/required-inputs.md)
5. Set the[ initialize action](/fullcalendar-plugin-suite/elements/calendar/actions.md#initialize-calendar) to run only after the calendar holding group is visible
6. Preview your app
